Sound Mixer Mary Ellis Nominated for Academy Award & BAFTA

Local 479 would like to extend its congratulations to Local 479 Sound Mixer Mary H. Ellis for her nomination for sound mixing for the feature film “Baby Driver“. Update: Mary has also been nominated for a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) for her work on Baby Driver.

Mary’s mixing team includes Local 479 members:

  • James Peterson, Boom Operator
  • Thomas J. Doolittle, Utility
  • Alex Lowe, Audio Playback

 

The 71st Annual British Academy Film Awards will air on Sunday, February 18th at 8/7c on BBC America.

The 90th Annual Academy Awards will air on Sunday, March 4th at 8pm EST on ABC.
