Attendees will learn how to find keywords to get the maximum amount of money for their budget. The class will focus on writing scene notes that will help organize the different areas present for costumes in a script such as principals, stunts, featured BG, and Art Department photoshoots. Then you identify the items that are made-to-order (MTO), rentals, or urgent purchases like sports uniforms.
DAY 2
Mauricia will teach attendees how to build a Costume budget from scratch for both an episodic and a film. She will cover how to present the budget line in an indisputable way so as to get the highest dollar amount for your crew. The more money you have to spend, the easier the job gets. Due to the workload of this course, you will need a computer. If you do not have a computer, you can request one at the time of registration. The Local has a very limited number of computers and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.
There are only 30 spots available for this course.
