Food Stylist and Food Historian covering 20 years of experience
Food Styling Course
This course will provide an overview of a 20-year career of a Food Stylist/Food Historian. Participants will be introduced to the tools of the trade and real experiences in your endeavor to becoming a Food Stylist.
The attendee will receive technical and practical knowledge for workingas a Food Stylist in TV and film. There will be a focus on in-depthexplanations of proper food handling, time management of a Food Stylist,Organizing, understanding food life and death, understanding dietaryrestrictions, introduction to equipment, when is artificial the better choiceand hands on demonstrations and why learning photographyfor yourself will only make you better and is much needed.
Even though Food Styling, Production catering and Craft service serve food. They are separate crafts and serve different purposes on set. This course will explain the differences. It will also show why a Food Styling skill applied on set is safer in many ways and why.

Heartsaver CPR with Sarah Mullis

IATSE local 479, 4220 International Pkwy Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30354, USAThis American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR and AED course was the first in the nation to combine hands-on AED instruction with CPR training. The course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child, and infant CPR and use of an AED.
Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking in the responsive victim. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of three major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.

Vectorworks 103 & 104 Advanced with Chris Cotone Day 1

Vectorworks 103 High Intermediate Concepts
This class makes the jump to drafting completely in 3D. We re-create a set from the Major Motion Picture Dr. Sleep where we recreate the exact materials that are necessary to be presented at the highest level of film and television production.Vectorworks 104 Advanced Concepts
This class focuses on 3D modeling and complex Rendering. We craft a 3D lighting device and use this exercise to familiarize the students with the tools and processes to create full and complete 3D models and renderings.Suggested Prerequisite: Completion of the 101/102 module or commensurate drafting experience.
What is this course about?
Vectorworks Spotlight training Class (2 Day Class) teaches students to use the CAD (Computer Assisted Drafting) program Vectorworks Spotlight to make light plots and 3D Renderings of sets and lighting instruments & environments.What will course participants learn in this course?
Students will learn skills including 3D Drafting, 3D modeling and rendering, and creating draft plots of complex lighting systems and professional level output and reports. Students will also learn complex symbol creation, how to create reports and how to facilitate database maintenance.There are 30 seats available for this workshop

"Weapons on Set" with Bob Shelley

Weapons on set!- Crew safety-Member rights and responsibilities
This is not a class to teach how to safely handle weapons, but guidelines for all departments when there are weapons on set.
The class will cover firearms, edged weapons (knives, swords), and special effects guns.
Instruction will include the various types/manufacturers of blank ammunition, and demonstration of the different loads. We will discuss various types of dummy ammunition and how to determine if a round is inert.
We will discuss the few industry accidents, how they happened and how it could have been avoided. Will discuss four related deaths and weapons used.
Accidents happen. We are all responsible for our own safety. And that begins with knowledge of and respect for weapons.
