How to Update Your Contact Information
Are you planning a move? Has your telephone number or email address recently changed? It’s important to update all of this information with the Local, or you may not receive membership stamps or ballots. Depending on your billing preferences (paperless/paper), you may also miss invoices or notices of Bad Standing (which could imperil your continued membership in the Local).
It’s easy to update your contact information by calling into the office or logging into the Member Dashboard website and doing it yourself. There’s only one item that you cannot update via the web: your Residential Address.
How to Update Your Residential Address
The only item that you cannot update via the Member Dashboard is your Residential Address, because the Local requires proof of residency. You must contact the office to change this information. You will be asked for a copy of your driver’s license, which you may present in person or send via email to the Business Agent. Please call first to initiate this process.
How to Update Your Information on the Member Dashboard
- Log into the Membership Dashboard website (www.iaentertainment-locals.org/479)
- Click the “My Account” button
Update Your Mailing Address
Your mailing address is listed in the right column of the Address section. Update this information simply by typing in your new information and clicking the “Save” button immediately underneath this section.
Update Your Contact Info
The Contact Info section is also editable. Simply update any of the fields and click the “Save” button immediately underneath this section.
Before you leave the Member Dashboard be sure to review your entries to make certain you have typed your information correctly.
